Plant Accountant A well-established Hampton, NH company is seeking a Plant Accountant with at least three years of experience for their team. This full-time, direct-hire role offers comprehensive benefits!Responsibilities of the Plant Accountant
- Prepare complete and accurate utility plant accounting records for company and its subsidiaries
- Process plant transactions and prepare journal entries
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Provide support for annual operating and capital budgets
- Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Perform other tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications of the Plant Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3-6 years of accounting experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to work an extended schedule to meet deadlines and be available for on-call rotation
